Book Repair OnlineBoiler Broken Down? We’ll Have You Warm Again Today.
Fast, honest, and reliable boiler repairs across Brighton, Worthing, and Mid-Sussex. We don’t just fix boilers; we provide long-term heating solutions you can trust.
No “Call-Out” Games. Just Honest Pricing.
We know the stress of a breakdown is bad enough without worrying about a “blank cheque” bill. That’s why we do things differently:
Fixed Diagnostic Fee: We charge a minimum 1-hour fee of £90 + VAT (plus materials).
The Goal: In that first hour, we aim to diagnose and, if possible, fix the fault on the spot.
Total Control: If your boiler needs a major part or a larger repair, we stop and provide a fixed-price quotation before any further work starts. No hidden extras, ever.
Try These 3 Quick Checks Before You Call Us
Check the Pressure: Look at your boiler’s gauge. If it’s below 1 bar, it may have locked out for safety. Try topping it up to 1.5 bar—this is often an instant fix.
Verify Your Gas Supply: Check if your other gas appliances (like a hob) are working. If not, check your meter—you might simply be out of credit or have a bumped valve.
The Frozen Pipe: If it’s freezing outside, your external white plastic condensate pipe might be frozen solid. Gently pour warm water over it and reset the boiler.

Rapid Boiler Repairs Across the Sussex Coast & A27 Corridor
We keep our service area tight so we can get to you faster. If you are near the A27 between Lewes and Angmering, we can usually get an engineer to you the same day.
Brighton & Hove: From the seafront to Patcham and Woodingdean.
Worthing & Durrington: Rapid response for BN11, BN12, and BN13.
Angmering, Littlehampton & East Preston: Helping local families stay warm year-round.
Seaford, Newhaven & Peacehaven: Reliable coastal support.
Uckfield, Burgess Hill & Haywards Heath: Full coverage across Mid-Sussex.

Repair vs. Replace: What’s Best for You?
Sometimes, a repair is just a “sticky plaster” on an aging system. If your boiler is over 10 years old and starting to cost you more in repairs and high energy bills, it might be time for an upgrade.
Boiler Installations: We offer up to 12-year warranties on new Worcester Bosch and Vaillant boilers.
Air Source Heat Pumps: Ready to future-proof your home? We are Sussex specialists in eco-friendly heating transitions.
Finance Available: We can help you spread the cost of a new, efficient system.

Why Boilers Give Up (And What to Look Out For)
In our experience working across Sussex, boiler breakdowns rarely happen out of thin air. Usually, your system tries to tell you something is wrong long before it actually quits on you. Understanding these common triggers can save you from a cold night and a bigger repair bill down the line.
Common Culprits We See on the Road
The “Fit and Forget” Trap: Many homeowners in Brighton and Hove inherit a boiler when they move in and forget it needs a “health check” once a year. Without a regular service, filters get clogged with sludge and parts wear down, forcing the boiler to work twice as hard until it eventually snaps.
Pressure Fluctuations: This is the #1 reason we get called out to Worthing and Durrington. If your pressure is too low, you’ll have no heat; if it’s too high, you’ll likely find a leak. It’s a delicate balance that keeps the whole system stable.
Thermostat “Miscommunication”: Sometimes the boiler is fine, but the “brain” (the thermostat) is failing. If your thermostat is old or faulty, it can’t tell the boiler when to fire up, leaving you with a cold house despite the boiler technically being “on.”
Warning Signs: Is Your Boiler Reaching Out for Help?
If you notice any of these “red flags,” it’s much cheaper to have us take a look now than to wait for a total breakdown:
Making Strange Noises: If your boiler is banging, whistling, or “kettling” (sounding like a boiling kettle), it’s usually a sign of trapped air or lime-scale buildup. It’s not just annoying; it’s a sign of internal stress.
Mystery Puddles: Never ignore water. Even a tiny drip near the casing can lead to rusted electronics or floor damage. If you see damp patches around your boiler in Seaford or Newhaven, give us a shout immediately.
The “Cold Room” Mystery: If your lounge is roasting but your bedroom in Uckfield stays chilly, your boiler is likely struggling to circulate water properly. It’s often a sign of a failing pump or a system that needs a professional flush.
Bills That Don’t Make Sense: If your gas bill has spiked but you haven’t changed your habits, your boiler is likely losing its efficiency. A well-tuned boiler is a cheaper boiler.

If Your Boiler Has Packed Up: A Quick Action Plan
“There’s never a good time for a boiler to fail. If you’ve woken up to no heating or hot water, here is the fastest way to get it sorted safely:”
Don’t keep resetting it: If your boiler has locked out or you smell something metallic/burnt, turn it off at the fused spur (the switch on the wall). Trying to force a broken boiler to run can turn a small repair into a very expensive one.
Check the simple bits first: Take a quick look at your credit meter (if you have one) and check your boiler’s pressure gauge. If the needle is in the red (below 1 bar), it might just need a quick top-up—give us a call and we can often talk you through this over the phone for free.
Get a Gas Safe pro in: If it’s more than a pressure issue, don’t DIY it. Call us on 01273 044026. We’re Gas Safe registered and we’ve seen every error code there is in Brighton and Hove. We’ll get an engineer out to diagnose the fault and give you a fixed price for the repair.
Think long-term: Once we’ve got you back up and running, we’ll show you how to set up an annual service. It’s the only way to catch these issues before they leave you in the cold next winter.
